
NJ TRANSIT is currently accepting applications for entry-level police officer positions, but space is limited. The application period will close at the end of the day on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, or when the first 2,000 applications have been received—whichever comes first.

Applications for NJ TRANSIT Police Department entry-level careers can be submitted online at policeapp.com. To ensure a smooth application process, applicants should have the following documents ready to upload:
- An updated resume
- An unofficial or official college transcript or a copy of a degree (if applicable, must include the applicant’s name and school name)
- DD214 (long version with discharge information, if applicable)
