St. Francis Community Center, fondly known as “The Center of it ALL,” has been serving the Ocean County community since 1972. Available Positions
Children’s Services: Teacher’s Assistant
- Position Type: Full-time (40+ hours) and Part-time (29 hours)
- Pay: $15.13 per hour
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Responsibilities: Assist in the care and education of children aged 13 months to 2 years. Ideal for individuals pursuing a career in education.
- Qualifications: Warm, nurturing personality, background in early childhood education preferred. First Aid & CPR certification and/or bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Family Support Services: In-home Bilingual Caseworker
- Position Type: Full-time (30 hours/week)
- Responsibilities: Provide in-home support and transportation for clients, focusing on factors influencing child abuse and neglect.
- Qualifications: Fluency in English and Spanish, valid driver’s license, and minimum of a high school diploma; BSW or related field preferred.
Senior Services: Caseworker (Outreach and Information Assistance Worker)
- Location: Berkeley Satellite Office
- Position Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Pay: $15.13 per hour
- Responsibilities: Provide outreach and assistance to seniors; strong communication and organizational skills required.
- Qualifications: Social work/caseworker experience preferred, valid driver’s license required.
Counseling Services: Part-time Clinical Supervisor
- Position Type: Part-time (8 hours/week)
- Responsibilities: Provide clinical supervision for up to six LSWs, review progress notes and treatment plans.
- Qualifications: LCSW with 3 years post-licensure, Certificate in Clinical Supervision required.
Educational & Career Services: Employment Specialist/Career Coach
- Location: Toms River
- Position Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Responsibilities: Assist WorkFirst NJ and senior employment participants in finding meaningful employment.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, experience in employment services preferred.
Parish and Center: Volunteer Coordinator
- Position Type: Part-time (24 hours/week)
- Responsibilities: Recruit and oversee volunteers for various programs and events at the center and parish.
- Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, valid driver’s license, ability to lift at least 40 lbs, excellent communication skills.
