Position: Intern
Internship Summary
- Support the Director of Volunteer Management & Development and the Director of Programs in the following areas:
- Administrative support.
- Event assistance.
- Program research and development.
- Building media lists and crafting press materials/pitches.
- Managing social media platforms.
- Assisting with volunteer recruitment, screening, training, and supervision.
Requirements
- Completion of fingerprinting and background checks.
- Weekly supervision with the assigned supervisor.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and assignments.
- Professionalism in interpersonal interactions (in person and by phone).
Qualifications

- Related fields
- Commitment: 10-25 hours per week, on-site in Toms River, NJ.
- Compensation: Unpaid; however, college credit is available.
