About the Role
Historic Tour Guides play a key role in sharing the story of Allaire Village and daily life from over 200 years ago. Guides lead visitors through the village, provide historical context, and help create an engaging experience for guests of all ages.
Tours are conducted as part of a two-hour guided experience, welcoming thousands of visitors each season.
Season & Schedule
- Part-time, seasonal position
- Tour season runs from March through November
- Over 5,000 guests visit Allaire Village each year
Key Responsibilities
- Lead guided walking tours of historic Allaire Village
- Interact with visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Support educational programming and public history efforts
