
Press Communications, LLC—home of Thunder 106, 107.1 The Boss, and B98.5—is hiring a part-time Promotions Assistant to help bring their stations to life at community events, concerts, and on-site broadcasts.
This is a great entry point into radio, events, and marketing with on-the-job training for qualified applicants.
What You’ll Do
- Energize live events: greet listeners, run games/prize tables, and keep crowds engaged
- Support street team activations, remotes, and promotional appearances
- Represent the stations professionally with a fun, outgoing presence
- Assist with event set-up/breakdown and basic on-site logistics
What They’re Looking For
- Entertaining, outgoing personality; quick on your feet and comfortable on a mic
- Strong people skills and the ability to engage audiences of all sizes
- Flexible schedule with regular evening and weekend availability (weekends are required)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to access venues including bars and nightclubs
- Prior media/communications/music/journalism experience is a plus, but not required—training provided
Schedule, Pay, and Status
- Part-time, event-based hours
- Evenings and weekends are common due to live remotes and promotions
