The Ocean County Career Center’s Youth Career Opportunity Program is dedicated to empowering Ocean County’s young adults, ages 16-24, by providing them with the resources, guidance, and support needed to achieve their career and educational goals. We offer a safe and friendly environment where young individuals can learn, explore career and training opportunities, and develop essential skills for the workforce.
Comprehensive Services for Youth
Our Youth Career Opportunity Program offers a wide range of services designed to help young adults succeed in their careers and personal lives. These services are available both in-person and virtually, ensuring accessibility for all participants.
The youth programs, WRAP (Work Readiness Assistance Program) and HYPE (Helping Youth Prepare for Employment) services are delivered in person or virtually and include:
- High School Completion: We provide support for young adults aiming to complete their high school education, whether through traditional means or alternative programs.
- Work Experience and Employment Opportunities: Gain practical work experience through internships and job placements tailored to individual career interests.
