The Borough of Seaside Heights Police Department is accepting applications for Seasonal Class I Police Officers (SLEO I) for the 2026 summer season. This seasonal law enforcement role supports public safety in one of Ocean County’s busiest shore communities.
Position Overview
Seasonal Class I Officers assist the Seaside Heights Police Department during the peak summer season. Officers work in a fast-paced, public-facing environment focused on community safety, visitor support, and enforcement of local and state laws.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements at the time of application:
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license
- Ability to meet department hiring standards
