The Ocean County Career Center provides guidance on financial programs that can help businesses offset costs and invest in workforce development. Employers can access wage subsidies, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training opportunities that foster skill-building and employee retention.
Additionally, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) offers a variety of funding initiatives to support businesses, including:
New Jersey Manufacturing Voucher Program (MVP): Grants of up to $250,000 for manufacturers to purchase equipment.
Small Business Improvement Grants: Reimbursements for building improvements or the purchase of equipment, up to $50,000.
Micro-Business Loans: Financing of up to $50,000 for businesses with fewer than 10 full-time employees.
